Conflict minerals sourcing policy

Tietosähkö Oy  is working with its suppliers to ensure transparency to the smelter/refining source for 3TG materials used in Tietosähkös products.
Furthermore, Tietosähkö seeks to identify the countries of origin of the 3TG in our components  and the smelters that process the 3TG in our products.
We are doing this work to promote responsible sourcing.

Tietosähkö Oy does not support the direct or indirect funding of armed groups operating in the DRC or adjoining countries.

Tietosähkö Oy  expects its suppliers to respond to its requests for complete transparency about the sources whose 3TG materials are used in Tietosähkös products and  ensure the information provided is accurate, up-to-date and complete.

This Policy applies to all suppliers of products and materials to the Tietosähkö Oy.

The four most commonly mined conflict minerals are, coltan (from which tantalum is derived); cassiterite (for tin); gold; wolframite (for tungsten); or their derivatives; or any other mineral or its derivatives financing conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country.
